Atomik Research conducted a survey for KYOCERA Document Solutions assessing printing trends in UK schools. The research was used to build a white paper exploring how technology is being used in the UK education system and how schools, colleges and universities are taking advantage of new equipment to support staff in their roles.
• The research revealed Just over half (56%) of teachers stated in an average term over 3,001 sheets of paper are printed. Of which 85% of the overall printing is printed in black and white.
• Two major improvements which teachers feel would improve their technology in their schools are ‘improved BYOD and mobile working’ (39%) and ‘better quality of printing’ (35%).
• Within the next three years, 54% of head teachers feel the biggest challenge their schools will face will be government legislation.
