PlanetRetail RNG commissioned market research with Atomik Research. The market research included a survey of senior retail managers and executives in 14 countries, between October 10, 2017 and October 27, 2017 in conjunction with Tyco, leading provider of analytics-based Loss Prevention, Inventory Intelligence and Traffic Insights for the retail industry.
The study included a detailed questionnaire, covering insights into the size and mode of respondents’ retail operations, as well as the size and sources of shrinkage as a percentage of sales.
The survey included questions about the size and budget of the Loss Prevention function, as well as the technologies, tools and approaches used to combat shrink.
The survey design was based on a qualitative feedback gathered from Tyco Retail Solutions’ clients.
The research was used to generate a white paper and infographic which would be used as marketing and thought leadership material by both PlanetRetail RNg and Tyco.
