PlanetRetail RNG commissioned Atomik Research, to conduct market research of 1,000 retailers and 4,811 consumers, across 10 countries on behalf of Displaydata, the leader in the design and supply of fully graphic electronic shelf labels (ESLs).

All respondents were employed at a senior management level or higher by a retail organization that operated stores and online or stores only. The stores had to be generating more than USD100 million in annual revenue.

Every consumer, aged 18-65, must have completed a purchase within a store within the week prior to taking the survey.

The countries included in the survey were: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, the UK and the US**.

The research was used to generate a white paper and infographic which would be used as marketing and thought leadership material by both PlanetRetail RNG and Displaydata.
